Description

The key responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer are:

• Audit supplier facilities and processes to ensure ISO/AS9100 compliance
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for defective parts
• Manage supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and development
• Document and review First Article Inspections (FAI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Enforce part rejection and stoppage protocols for non-compliant materials

Profile

The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will have the following:

• Proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within the aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of ISO/AS9100 standards and audit procedures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% for supplier audits and evaluations
• U.S. citizenship or ITAR-compliant status
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality and aerospace preferred
