Financial Regulatory Reporting Associate
The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities, which requires working knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting, as well as understanding of the financial industry. The position will be responsible for regulatory reports across all entities under the Combined US Operations.

This specific team is responsible for the preparation of regulatory filings for multiple entities in the organization. This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at the office an average of two or three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.
Description
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, and FR2900,), Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-15, and BE-125)
- Reconcile reporting data to GL, validation of static data and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure that changes in the reporting instructions and accounting standards made by the regulatory authorities are incorporated within the reports submitted.
- Assist in maintaining and updating procedure documentations related to new and existing regulatory requirements to ensure firm's compliance.
- Keep track of each assigned tasks and projects, and meet each deadline.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across organization.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting major is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in BI tools such as Alteryx or Power Bi is a plus
- Working knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial reporting
- Basic knowledge of financial products (e.g. loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market products, repos etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Big 4 or large regional accounting firms (banking or capital market clients), financial accounting, product control or regulatory reporting area, experiences in banking is required
- US CPA, CFA or equivalent license is a big plus
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks
