Payroll Manager | Hybrid in Washington, DC
Seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager in Washington, DC, to oversee all payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of multi-state payroll, and be well-versed in Workday.

Description
- Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing via Workday.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Coordinate with the human resources department to ensure correct employee data.
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
- Implement and enforce payroll policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the upper management.
- Provide training and support to the payroll team.

- A Bachelors degree (required).
- Proficiency in Workday (required).
- People management experience.
- A strong understanding of multi-state payroll procedures and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
