Audit Manager - Retail Banking

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Audit Manager to oversee and improve our internal auditing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry and a proven track record in leading internal audit teams.

Description

• Oversee and manage comprehensive audits in the financial services sector.
• Develop and implement internal auditing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other department heads to streamline auditing processes.
• Provide guidance and leadership to audit team members.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in the financial services industry.
• Coordinate with external auditors as required.
• Participate in key business decisions as a member of the management team.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• 4+ years of internal audit experience
• Experience in one of the following areas: retail banking, alpha regulations, corporate treasury, IRBB, liquidity risk or ALM
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
