Client Details
Our client is a growing Multifamily General Contractor headquartered in Raleigh, NC. They have been around for 5 years with $100M+ worth of work currently under construction. Their President comes from a Top ENR background and went out on his own and has seen incredible success since.
They specialize in garden style multifamily construction projects typically within 4 hours of Raleigh. Projects will be in NC, SC, and VA. They currently have over 1700 units under construction. Projects typically range $15M-$50M - all ground-up construction.
They are seeking a Multifamily Project Manager or an Assistant Project Manager looking for the next step in their career to join their team due to growth. The group has seen tremendous success and they are looking for someone who wants to be a future leader in the organization. Project Managers receive a vehicle allowance ranging roughly $750-$1000/mo based on distance and sit out of their Raleigh office.
Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinate and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.
- Manages personnel development.
- Communicate job expectations, enforce policies & procedures, and manage & coach employees.
- Conduct regular meetings with the team to ensure work is on schedule, within budget and complies with technical, safety and legal requirements.
- Must be a strategic problem solver who can add value to our customer's projects.
- May work with pre-construction team in development of project
- Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have the following experience:
- 3+ years of multifamily construction experience with a General Contractor is required
- Experience working on ground-up multifamily construction projects is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred
- Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
- Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success
- Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
- Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
- Local to Raleigh preferred, though relocators will be considered
Job Offer
The successful Project Manager will receive:
- Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $90,000 - $115,000
- Discretionary bonuses
- Vehicle allowance ranging roughly $750/mo-$1000/mo based on distance
- Cell and laptop offered
- PTO and sick days
