Description

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee and mentor project teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Engineers, and administrative staff.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans; identify and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts, including estimating support, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Manage client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Review and approve contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies across all assigned projects.
  • Partner with field leadership (Superintendents) to coordinate project execution and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Monitor project financials, prepare reports for executive leadership, and ensure profitability goals are met.
  • Support business development efforts by fostering repeat client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Profile

  • 12+ years project management experience in the vertical-build construction industry
  • Previous experience working for a General Contractor
  • Experience building large-scale ground-up and interior projects
  • Experience in at least one of the following market sectors: Light Industrial, Medical Office Building, Data Center, Student Housing, Multifamily
  • Design/build and private negotiated contract delivery experience
  • Strong project financial skills, as this person will work closely with the company CFO
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills - both internally to manage project teams and externally with key project stakeholders
  • Technical proficiency with the following softwares (or similar): Procore, Bluebeam, Sage Timberline
  • College degree preferred, not required
