Construction Estimator / Senior Estimator

Description
- Extensive expertise in construction materials, methods, practices, and contract management
- Proficient in Sage Estimating, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong mathematical foundation, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, applied to accurate project estimating
- Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled at interpreting bid documents and developing precise construction detail sketches
- Experienced in cost estimation using probability models, providing clear insights into overall expenses, specific components, and project timelines
- Effective communicator-able to convey ideas visually through sketches and diagrams, as well as verbally with diverse stakeholders
- Familiar with measurement techniques, economic principles, and core business fundamentals
- Critical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills, capable of abstract reasoning and analytical decision‑making
- Confident in making informed, independent decisions by leveraging data and practical judgment
- Self‑motivated and highly capable of working independently while maintaining accountability
- Driven to achieve long‑term goals
Profile
- 4+ year(s) experience in the estimating or project management field.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Ground up project knowledge and experience preferred
- Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sage, MS Project
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Interesting in mentorship opportunity
- Quantity takeoff and cost estimate experience
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management or Architectural Technology.
Job Offer
- Base salary ranging from $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience
