Job Requirements of Sr Estimator - New Construction + Reno - Timonium MD:
* Lead all estimating and preconstruction efforts for new construction, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects ranging from $20M to $70M+.• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive bid proposals.
• Manage a focused bid workload (approximately 10-12 bids annually) while supporting broader preconstruction planning.
• Work directly with the President, VP, and CFO to develop budgets, evaluate project feasibility, and assess risk.
• Participate in client meetings and represent the company professionally and confidently.
• Support upcoming renovation projects on properties owned by the company.
• Ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to project management teams.
7-10 years of estimating or preconstruction experience (minimum of 5 years considered).
General Contractor experience is required, with at least 3 years currently or recently spent at a GC.
Background may include subcontractor experience, but GC experience must be current.
Experience with both new construction and renovations across a variety of project types (multifamily, K-12, office, senior living, etc.).
Strong communication skills and comfort in client-facing roles.
Ability to operate independently as the sole Estimator.
Must be able to work in persion in Timonium, MD five days per week.
Ability to pass a background check.

This role is a high‑impact Estimator position where you'll lead all estimating and preconstruction efforts for a well‑established GC with a diverse project portfolio. You'll work directly with executive leadership, operate as the sole Estimator, and have a clear path toward future VP‑level advancement.

Job Offer
- Base Salary: $110,000-$140,000
