Project Engineer - Denver

Description

As the Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager and Superintendent on active K‑12 projects, ensuring documentation, coordination, and field processes are executed smoothly.

• Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Support coordination between field teams, design partners, and subcontractors
• Track project schedules and material deliveries
• Maintain accurate project logs and reporting
• Help ensure safety protocols and quality standards are upheld
• Participate in site walks, progress meetings, and punch list activities
• Contribute to project closeout documentation and turnover

Profile

For the Project Engineer we are seeking:

• At least 2 years of construction experience, ideally on K‑12 or similar institutional projects
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to support both field and office operations
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a desire to grow into future leadership roles

Job Offer

• $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, depending on experience
