Description

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for:

• Running Large Ground up projects $50M+ across Public, Commercial, Healthcare, Academic, & Life Science sectors
• Making educated decisions related to the performance of all work-related activities
• Establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with all individuals involved in the project
• Understanding construction layout, methods of sequence, and how to read plans and specifications
• Maintaining strict build-out schedule and making course corrections as needed to ensure deadlines are met
• Managing subcontractors, field team, project schedule, deliveries, logistics, layout, and quality control
• Ensuring work site safety compliance
• Regulating labor hours
• Performing punch list and close out process
• Identifying and resolving local problems on-site

Profile

The right Construction Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a Commercial GC
• MUST HAVE Large ground-up experience $10M-$20M+
• Ideally Public, Commercial, Healthcare, Academic, Lifescience project background
• Maintain current Construction Supervisors License
• Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost-control procedures
• Able to read, understand, and interpret general contract, general conditions, subcontractor documents, drawings and specifications
