Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate pricing information.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimating activities.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• 8+ years of experience in Estimating position
• Experience with projects $20M or more
• Experience with Ground Up projects
• A strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and organized approach to managing multiple projects.
• Experience in the business services industry is a plus.
