We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Traveling Superintendent to oversee retail fit-out projects for T-Mobile across the nation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing retail construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and a safe work environment. This is a dynamic role that requires travel to various project sites, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.

Description

• Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of retail fit-out projects for T-Mobile, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

• Travel: Frequent travel required to various retail locations nationwide to oversee project progress, manage subcontractors, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among all parties involved in the project.

• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while coordinating logistics, materials, and manpower.

• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards, performing quality inspections throughout the project.

• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for T-Mobile project managers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

• Problem-Solving: Proactively address and resolve any project-related challenges or delays.

Profile

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in retail construction or similar projects (preferably with experience in T-Mobile fit-outs or similar telecom projects).

• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project oversight (weekdays and some weekends as necessary).

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly address on-site issues and ensure projects stay on track.

• Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of OSHA safety standards and ability to implement best practices on-site.
