Traveling Superintendent- Tilt Wall- Houston Tx
This Houston-based general contractor is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up airplane hangar projects across multiple locations. The role involves managing all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to high-quality standards.

Description
Oversee all daily field operations, including subcontractor management and site logistics
Enforce safety compliance and OSHA regulations at all times
Maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, and communicate progress to the internal team
Interpret and implement construction drawings, specs, and technical documentation
Lead subcontractor meetings, site walks, and inspections
Manage project records, RFIs, as-builts, and daily reports
Collaborate with PMs and engineers to resolve challenges and keep builds on track
Mentor field staff and foster a culture of accountability and performance
Deliver projects that meet or exceed quality and client expectations
Profile
7+ years of experience overseeing ground-up commercial or multifamily builds
Proven ability to manage complex jobs from start to finish
Strong communication and leadership skills in fast-paced environments
Ability and willingness to travel for project assignments
Knowledge of construction safety practices, scheduling tools, and jobsite coordination
Job Offer
