Operations Manager - Chemical Manufacturing - Beverly, MA
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a multi-site facility. You will follow the strategic business plan and coordinate your teams in order to achieve goals from operations and financial standpoints. Your leadership will cover multiple disciplines such as manufacturing, quality, purchasing, management of distribution, and general facility oversight. Exemplar leadership abilities are required.

Description
Reporting directly into the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple manufacturing facilities
- Providing exceptional leadership to teams by empowering them to meet strategic goals
- Develop and implement operations strategies and measure their efficiency making adjustments as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Reduce costs, improve quality, reduce lead times
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
- Education in operations or business management
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years in a leadership or management role
- Chemical Manufacturing environment experience
- Experience leading operational efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
- Excellent leadership skills and a passion for managing people and helping them achieve goals
- 25% travel
