Production Supervisor - Industrial Manufacturing

The Production Supervisor will oversee a small, but growing, team of technicians, mold makers, and leads. This is a hands-on position where you will lead a high mix, lower volume industrial manufacturing floor.

My client is a leading Industrial Manufacturing company based out of the Laconia, NH area. They are a well-established, growing organization that manufactures custom components used in a variety of industries including the industrial, medical device, electrical, and consumer products spaces.

Description

The Production Supervisor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Adhering to all company and safety policies; promptly report any policy violations or hazardous conditions to a supervisor or the Safety Committee.
• Promoting a culture of safety and encourage safe practices across the production floor.
• Actively participating in safety initiatives and report job-related concerns to the Safety Committee.
• Reviewing production schedules, work orders, and staffing plans to determine resource needs and production priorities.
• Collaborating with department supervisors to monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments.
• Modifying production schedules in response to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other disruptions, working closely with management, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Requesting and managing inventory to ensure materials and supplies meet production requirements.
• Distributing work orders and schedules to relevant departments.
• Developing production plans and timelines based on sales forecasts and business unit goals.

Profile

A successful Production Supervisor should have the following qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in production management
• Proficiency with MRP systems or similar software tools
• Experience working hands-on in an Industrial Manufacturing setting
