Project Manager II - OSHPD - San Francisco

$160,000 - $180,000/Year

The Project Manager II will manage all aspects of the development and implementation of projects from original concept to final implementation and commissioning. They will also verify that the work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality that meets the budget. This hands-on role will lead the communication efforts for internal and external project reporting and be responsible for managing the project team.

Description

  • Maintain adherence to company's standards of safety
  • Create and manage project budget for all assigned projects
  • Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package
  • Conduct project meetings, while setting milestones and formulating monthly owner reports
  • Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
  • Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
  • Manage the closeout process efficiently
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs while explaining how these needs could be met by specific company services
  • Supervise assistant operations support roles such as assistant project manager, administrative assistant, MEP managers, safety team members, etc.
  • Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project

Profile

  • Four-year engineering, construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training.
  • Five to seven years of related experience.
  • Solid understanding of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to subject area.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, interact and communicate with others.
  • Proficiency in O365 office suite.
  • Not for New York City Applicants.
