Superintendent- Custom Homes

We are seeking an experienced Custom Home Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction of high-end, luxury custom homes in the Fort Lauderdale market. This role requires hands-on field leadership, exceptional attention to detail, and proven experience delivering custom residences up to $10M in value

Our client is a well-established luxury residential builder specializing in bespoke, architecturally significant custom homes throughout South Florida. Known for craftsmanship, quality, and long-term relationships with clients and trade partners, the company has a strong pipeline of upcoming high-end projects.

Description

• Manage all on-site construction activities from site preparation through final delivery

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure schedules and quality standards are met

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

• Maintain project schedules, daily logs, inspections, and progress reports

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

• Work closely with project managers, architects, designers, and homeowners

• Oversee quality control and punch-list completion to luxury custom home standards

• Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to keep projects on time and within budget

Profile

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up luxury custom homes

• Proven experience delivering custom residential projects up to $10M in value

• Strong knowledge of South Florida construction practices, codes, and inspections

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills

• Highly detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality finishes

• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain high expectations on-site

• Comfortable working directly with discerning homeowners and design teams
