Construction Assistant Quality Manager - Traveling

We are seeking a Traveling Alternate QC Manager to support quality control operations on a major federal construction project at Naval site (near Seattle). This is a traveling role providing essential QC leadership across large‑scale, complex scopes.

The firm prioritizes candidates with strong tenure and experience from reputable GC competitors.

Description

• Support the QC Manager in executing project QC programs for a $153M, high‑voltage/medium‑voltage federal project.
• Assist with EM 385‑1‑1 compliance and documentation.
• Participate in safety, hazard identification, and sustainability reviews.
• Help ensure all work meets contractual and regulatory quality standards.
• Maintain QC reports, logs, inspections, and testing records.
• Travel to and remain on‑site at NBK Bangor, WA.

Profile

• 10+ years combined experience across Super, QCM, PM, PE, or CM roles.
• Experience supporting QC on large, complex projects.
• Familiarity with EM 385‑1‑1 and federal project QC processes.
• Strong safety and compliance background.
• Stable work history with reputable general contractors.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.
