Construction Assistant Quality Manager - Traveling
We are seeking a Traveling Alternate QC Manager to support quality control operations on a major federal construction project at Naval site (near Seattle). This is a traveling role providing essential QC leadership across large‑scale, complex scopes.

A nationally recognized, long‑standing contractor (founded in the 1850s) with a strong history delivering aviation, education, municipal, hospitality, laboratory, historic renovation, senior living, and other technical projects. The firm prioritizes candidates with strong tenure and experience from reputable GC competitors.
Description
- Support the QC Manager in executing project QC programs for a $153M, high‑voltage/medium‑voltage federal project.
- Assist with EM 385‑1‑1 compliance and documentation.
- Participate in safety, hazard identification, and sustainability reviews.
- Help ensure all work meets contractual and regulatory quality standards.
- Maintain QC reports, logs, inspections, and testing records.
- Travel to and remain on‑site at NBK Bangor, WA.
Profile
- 10+ years combined experience across Super, QCM, PM, PE, or CM roles.
- Experience supporting QC on large, complex projects.
- Familiarity with EM 385‑1‑1 and federal project QC processes.
- Strong safety and compliance background.
- Stable work history with reputable general contractors.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods.
Job Offer
