Assistant Affordable Housing Asset Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Affordable Housing Asset Manager to contribute to our mission in the non-profit sector. The ideal candidate will be skilled in property management and have experience in affordable housing initiatives.

Our company is a mid-sized non-profit organization based in New York. We specialize in housing restoration and preservation, dedicated to supporting local communities through affordable housing solutions.

Description

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of affordable housing properties, single and multifamily, advising on construction, safety and leasing.
  • Coordinate with property managers to ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations
  • Review and analyze financial statements of housing assets
  • Track and report on the performance of the property portfolio
  • Assist in the development of asset management strategies
  • Participate in property inspections and assessments
  • Facilitate communication with tenants, property managers, and other stakeholders
  • Support the team in the resolution of property-related issues
