Manufacturing Engineer- Electronics- Lowell, MA
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and development manufacturing processes from design through production and be hands on in all areas of the organization.

The organization is a growing electronics manufacturer North of Boston, MA seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to joining their team. 2024 was a record revenue year with several developments to grow a larger and more diverse product line. They continue to add new partnerships and seeking the right talent to jump start 2025.
Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
- New Program Integration - Lead customer program launches, perform DFM analysis, optimize designs for manufacturability, and develop processes, control plans, and training.
- Tooling & Vendor Collaboration - Work with vendors to develop and evaluate tooling for efficiency, quality, and ergonomics.
- Process Improvement & Quality - Address manufacturing challenges, update processes, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
- Customer & Team Communication - Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve design and manufacturing concerns.
- Production Optimization - Design work cells, apply Lean principles, and conduct labor and capacity studies to meet production goals.
- Hands-on & Equipment Evaluation - Perform mechanical tasks and assess new processing techniques and equipment for quality compliance.
Profile
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have what follows:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Manufacturing; 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in PCBA assembly and mechanical assembly.
- SMT experience is a PLUS.
- Experience working with customers on production launches and problem resolution.
- Proficient in Lean manufacturing.
