Assistant Super Opportunity - Top GC in Washington, D.C.
The Assistant Superintendent will work in collaboration Superintendent & additional field staff to oversee large-scale multi-family new construction & renovations projects. Projects will be valued between $20M - $100M+
Client Details
My client is a family owned and operated General Contractor with 23+ years in the business. They have one of the most well-respected & trusted names in the region, and are the 'go-to' firm for building multi-family/mixed-use, commercial, and historic preservation projects.
Their portfolio consists of large scale new construction work and complex renovations, with project values ranging from $30M - $100M+.

Description
- Work in collaboration with field staff & project management team to oversee large-scale multifamily projects from start to completion
- Assist with the daily management, coordination, supervision, and successful completion of projects
- Monitor construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work
- Participate in & lead staff meetings
- Review and compile RFIs, submittals, change requests, and other project financial documentation
- Assist with overseeing project budget. Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- +/- 2-5 years of experience within construction
- General Contracting or Builder-Developer background
- Multi-family experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated history of overseeing projects in excess of $20M
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Shown ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
