Assistant Superintendent
Seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent with a strong background in ground up, residential construction. The ideal candidate will excel in coordination, supervision, and the execution of construction projects.

Our client is a well-established, close-knit organization in the construction sector, based in Brooklyn that leads projects up to $200 million. They have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across various property types.
Description
- Supervise construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
- Understand and implement contract specifications and construction drawings.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Profile
A successful 'Assistant Superintendent' should have:
- Ground up, residential experience is essential and non-negotiable - affordable housing experience would be ideal as would be a DOB license.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
- Ability to plan and see the 'big picture'.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Job Offer
