Project Manager - Construction
The Project Manager - Construction will oversee all phases of interior construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage client relationships, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. All projects are in New York, NY.

Our client is a leading GC with a reputation for delivering high-quality interior construction projects on time and within budget. They specialize in corporate, retail, hospitality, and residential interiors, and we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our growing team.
Description
Project Manager - Construction
Lead and manage interior construction projects ranging from small fit-outs to large-scale renovations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.
Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and performance.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Identify and resolve project challenges quickly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Ensure project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and client handoff
- General knowledge of building and construction codes
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of project management experience in interior construction or fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
OSHA certification or other safety training a plus.
