The Director Loan Workouts will oversee the management and resolution of distressed loan portfolios, including corporate, project finance, and commercial real estate loans. Job Summary:
The Director Loan Workouts will oversee the management and resolution of distressed loan portfolios, including corporate and commercial real estate loans. This role requires extensive experience in loan workouts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Workout Management: Oversee the management and resolution of distressed loan portfolios, including corporate and commercial real estate loans.
Restructuring Strategies: Develop and implement loan restructuring strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and assessment of distressed loans, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and collateral valuations.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations with borrowers, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable workout outcomes.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with distressed loans and recommend mitigation strategies.
Client Interaction: Engage with borrowers and clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored workout solutions.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive workout plans, credit memos, and restructuring agreements.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of workout professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive workout reports, risk assessments, and presentations to senior management and risk committees.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the loan workout and restructuring sector.
Profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Established Director's preferrred.
10+ years of experience in loan workouts, corporate finance, or commercial real estate, with a focus on distressed loans.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
Excellent understanding of loan workout and restructuring methodologies.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.
Job Offer
The typical base pay range for this role is between $175,000 - $325,000.
