Quality Manager - Full-Time Travel - Construction
Great time to join this top 100 ENR firm that is making waves in the construction industry through exciting growth and complex projects in cutting-edge markets. As on-site Quality Manager, you will join the field team and serve as the bridge between project management, owner, and trade partners.

They are best known for their delivery of design/build manufacturing, light industrial, pharmaceutical, and mission critical projects.
Description
- Supervise and develop a team.
- Lead regular meetings to review progress, quality metrics, and upcoming work.
- Train site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Allocate QA/QC resources to meet project schedules.
- Review and approve quality plans, ITPs, and method statements.
- Ensure all construction activities follow project specifications and approved ITPs.
- Manage document control for submittals, RFIs, and technical records.
- Oversee inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
- Confirm testing is performed correctly and properly documented.
- Conduct routine quality audits to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Represent the project during client and third‑party audits.
- Maintain complete quality documentation: inspections, tests, certificates, and logs.
- Provide regular quality reports to project leadership and clients.
- Oversee accurate preparation and submission of As‑Built documentation.
- Serve as the primary on‑site contact for quality matters.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate quality-focused meetings and workshops.
- Ensure all quality tasks are performed safely and follow safety protocols.
- Verify work complies with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
- Stay current with evolving industry quality practices.
Profile
- 8+ years experience in the construction industry
- Strong MEP expertise desired
- QA, QC, and Commissioning experience
- Preference for candidates with large-scale, technical project experience in: manufacturing, light industrial, mission critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related project types
- 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study preferred
- Possess values of integrity, honesty, and self-improvement
- Strong leadership skills
- Professional business aptitude
- Software proficiency with the following preferred but not required: AutoDesk, Onscreen Takeoff, REVIT
Candidates must be open to travel nationally. Per diem travel package is provided. Expected travel home once every 2 weeks.
