Process Engineer- Plastics- Nashua, NH
Key responsibilities for the Process Engineer include supporting initial project quoting efforts and leading the development and ongoing optimization of a reliable injection molding process.

Description
The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
- Support the processing, validation, and documentation of new products, molds, processes, and equipment
- Contribute to the quoting process for tools and parts
- Provide training to Process Technicians on resolving processing-related issues
- Drive optimization of manufacturing processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through enhancements in materials, processes, tooling, and automation
- Assist in daily production activities and troubleshoot existing processes as needed
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction
- Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) when required
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers as necessary
- Support efforts to maintain and promote a safe working environment
Profile
The successful Process Engineer will have a background of:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of injection molding processes, including scientific molding and validation methodologies (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Exposure to industry standards and quality systems, with a willingness to learn automotive requirements (e.g., PPAP, PFMEA, APQP)
- Experience with process automation and secondary operations such as welding, decorating, or machining
- Strong understanding of quality and SPC systems
- Project management experience from concept through production
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills
- RJG training or experience is a plus
