Varied role planning and delivering external communications activities for the prestigious Finance and Energy practice groups.

Description

Demonstrable skills required as External Communications Manager:

• Planning, writing and launching varied external communications
• PR and media work
• Strategic approach to developing and delivering external communications strategies
• Project management, coordinating activities and resources across marketing and communications teams
• Stakeholder management - working directly with the finance and energy practice groups, CMO, Head of Communications, Partners and Attorneys across the firm's network of offices in the US and Europe
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Profile

Demonstrable skills required as External Communications Manager:

• 10-15 years external communications experience
• Preference for Big-Law, law firm background, open to applicants from Professional Services industry (must have previous employment experience within large, global, matrix professional services organizations
• Previous external communications work for finance or energy practice groups highly desirable but not essential
• Highly skilled in planning, developing and executive external communications, PR and media relations

• Competitive base salary: $135,000-$179,000
