Project Manager - K-12 Construction - Ijamsville, MD or NOVA
This Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including project scheduling, budget management, and contractor compliance, while serving as a key liaison among the construction team, design team, and stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of commercial construction project management experience and the ability to effectively interpret construction documents in a fast-paced environment.

Description
- Manage project schedule
- Payment requisitions
- Contract review, management, and enforcement
- Change orders, RFIs, and PCOs
- Project budget management
- Oversee submittal and shop drawing submissions
- Document and oversee contractor scope compliance
- Conduct progress meetings
- Visit project sites weekly at a minimum
- Supervise project closeout
Profile
5-10+ years of project management experience with commercial or public-sector new construction (K-12, higher ed, government, etc.)
Proven ability to manage projects $20M+
Comfortable overseeing junior staff (PEs, APMs, Assistant Supers)
Strong client-facing and organizational skills
Experience with preconstruction and design-build is a plus
Able to manage projects cradle-to-grave and clearly articulate scope of past roles
Open to candidates from across the DMV or willing to travel within the region
Job Offer
Competitive base salary ($110K-$150K)
2 annual bonuses (holiday + performance-based bonus of up to $10K+)
Vehicle allowance ($800 to $1,500/month depending on role) or company vehicle (for Supers)
