Superintendent- Healthcare Construction
Lead high-impact healthcare construction projects for a respected general contractor in the South Florida market. This is a pivotal field leadership role for an experienced Superintendent with expertise in delivering complex, occupied, and ground-up healthcare facilities.
Client Details
Our client is a Florida-based general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering healthcare, institutional, and commercial construction projects across the state. With decades of industry experience, they are known for excellence in quality, client relationships, and job site safety. Their Miami division is expanding rapidly due to continued success in winning hospital renovations, medical office buildings, and surgical center projects.
Description
Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project close-out
Ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations
Coordinate and lead subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
Maintain job site documentation and daily progress reports
Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, and inspectors
Drive quality control and safety initiatives throughout the job site
Resolve field issues promptly while minimizing project delays
Profile
Minimum of 5-10 years of Superintendent experience, with a focus on healthcare construction
Proven track record delivering projects in occupied hospital environments, surgical centers, or ground-up medical facilities
Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations and infection control protocols
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced schedules
OSHA 30-hour certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred
