Our client is a recognized leader in custom electrical power distribution and control systems, serving mission-critical sectors such as live entertainment, film production, generator rental, and industrial distribution.
Description
- Serve as a consultative resource to customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored electrical product solutions
- Generate and follow up on sales quotes promptly to convert inquiries into confirmed orders
- Develop and maintain both new and existing customer accounts through proactive outreach and relationship-building
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls and email inquiries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product teams to support customer requirements and facilitate deal closure
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records, quote funnels, and customer documentation to ensure smooth sales processes
- Participate actively in daily and weekly team meetings and individual performance reviews to support continuous improvement
- Promote new product launches and in-stock product campaigns to drive sales and support inventory reduction efforts
- Assist in order tracking, processing, and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Support lead qualification and handoff to field sales or account managers as appropriate.
Profile
- Proven experience in inside sales, perferably within custom electrical or industrial product sectors
- Strong familiarity with entertainment or industrial applications highly preferred
- Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with a professional demeanor
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and deadlines
- High level of personal accountability, integrity, and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
- Electrical license or relevant technical certification is a plus
- Strong project follow-through and CRM/ERP fluency
