Superintendent - Data Center Construction - Stafford,VA

Our client, a top-tier commercial general contractor, is seeking a Superintendent to oversee large-scale data center construction in Stafford, VA. This role requires an experienced leader who can manage field crews, oversee assistant superintendents, and ensure projects stay on schedule. Description

• Manage and oversee field operations for a $150M data center campus.
• Supervise 10 Assistant Superintendents/Field Engineers and ensure seamless coordination on-site.
• Monitor schedules, identify potential delays, and implement strategies to recover lost time.
• Ensure county inspections and permitting requirements are met.
• Oversee tilt-wall construction, tenant improvement, and site development.
• Maintain safety standards and quality control throughout project execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Superintendent, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Work a 5-day schedule with occasional Saturday or night shifts (once a month).

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent running commercial construction projects of $50M+.
• Data center construction experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills to manage crews and assistant superintendents effectively.
• Proven ability to identify schedule risks and implement corrective actions.
• Deep knowledge of county inspections and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with tilt-wall construction and complex site packages.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-driven.
