Process Engineer
The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in steel production. The Process Engineer will also be involved in analyzing work flow, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements to meet production targets and reduce costs. Description
Main duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Implement process improvements to reduce cycle times & drive efficiency, primarily in the press department
- Design fixtures & jigs to support manufacturing processes utilizing CAD software expertise
- Conduct root-cause analysis for existing processes
- Create, revise, and maintain critical engineering documentation throughout the department
- Work alongside a team of four other Process Engineers to drive operational improvements throughout the entire engineering department
- Collaborate with safety, operations, and quality departments to ensure product quality in a timely manner

Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 1 - 3 years of engineering and manufacturing experience
- Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- History of conducting root-cause analyses
- Team orientated and open to cross- functional department collaboration
- Proven track record of process improvement implementation with tangible results
- Experience implementing LEAN manufacturing principles is a plus
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn from those around them
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting will help you stand out
- A humble attitude and strong critical thinking skills
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience and applicable skills
- 3 weeks of PTO
- Strong benefits including medical, dental, and vision
- 8% annual bonus
