Senior Corporate Accountant

The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in reconciliations, intercompany related activities, and monthly close activities. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in accounting.

The hiring company is a large organization with multiple subdivisions in lower Manhattan.

Description

• Reconcile multiple balance sheet accounts
• Oversee prepaids, accrued expenses, and fixed assets
• Responsible for monthly close - JE, reconciliations, and reporting
• Perform intercompany activities with domestic and international subsidiaries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

A successful Senior Corporate Accountant should have:

• 3-5 years of private accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including debits and credits
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a team setting.
• CPA a plus
