Project Manager - Employee Owned Company - Richmond VA

$70,000 - $130,000/Year

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion. This will include collaborating with the project team, reviewing and approving designs, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Client Details

My client is an employee owned general contractor with multiple offices across the US. They are a stable award winning contractor with a strong reputation in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Description

* Collaborate with the project team to develop project plans and schedules.

* Review and approve designs and construction documents.

* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.

* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being completed in accordance with the project plans.

* Identify potential issues and develop solutions to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.

* Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related paperwork.

* Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and requirements.

* Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.

* Participate in project meetings and provide input on project strategy and direction.

* Perform other duties as assigned. Profile

* Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering etc.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related role in the construction industry, with experience in multifamily, senior living, or commercial projects.

* Strong project management and organizational skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Knowledge of construction software and tools.

* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

* Knowledge of construction safety regulations and requirements.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Must be willing to travel to various project locations as needed.
