Trafic Regulatory Developer
The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team delivers agile, time-sensitive IT solutions to support trading activities across Global Macro, Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit businesses, covering the full application development lifecycle. They are seeking a C# developer in New York to support a key in-house platform used globally for booking, pricing, electronic trading, and regulatory reporting of Bonds, CLOs, Repos, Loans, and Interest Rate Futures.

A specialized financial services firm within the finance group, focusing on market-making, structured products, and hedging solutions for institutional clients. As a client, they require robust trading, risk management, and support systems to manage complex financial instruments across global markets efficiently.
Description
* Application Development: Work closely with product owner, business analysts and developers to design, develop, and implement features requested by business.
* Agile Methodologies: Be part of the Agile ceremonies that the team put in place to manage development cycles.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, including user guides, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
* Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, addressing user issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
Profile
A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have over three years of software development experience, ideally within the financial services sector and with a focus on transactional regulatory reporting. They will be proficient in C# (or a similar language), possess a solid understanding of fixed income products and interest rate derivatives, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and experience working in agile environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role involves close interaction with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data visualization tools is considered a valuable plus.
A background in the financial sector is essential for this role.
Job Offer
Immediate start date, 3 days in office in Manhattan, and a quick 2 round interview process(virtual). Long term contract opportunity with potential for extension.
