Given the growth, they are looking to now identify an Accountant to work closely with the management team to assist with the evolving A&F function. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting-related practices such as month-end close, AP, AR, and more.

Description

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ledger analyses.
• Perform daily account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
• Record and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Prepare and post journal entries to general ledger accounts.
• Assist with preparation for year-end reviews and audits.
• Implement web-based financial systems and produce database-driven reports.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial and accounting projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect sensitive financial information.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0-2+ year of accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Desire to continue to grow through continuing training and development
• ERP system experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
