Manufacturing - Project Engineer - Dover, NH
The Project Engineer involves coordinating mechanical and electrical design and programming for projects, ensuring seamless integration of all components. Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mechanical design, electrical design, and programming for projects, ensuring all elements work seamlessly together.
- Occasionally model and create detailed drawings in PTC Creo to support project requirements and design validation.
- Research and specify purchased components that meet system requirements, ensuring quality and functionality.
- Review specifications and verify that designs comply with all applicable standards, maintaining project integrity and safety.
- Manage complex projects for key customers and government agencies, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
- Create design verification documentation, including necessary forms for quality programs, to support compliance and audit processes.
- Meet with customers to define and clarify project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with detailed contract specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage project schedules, tracking key milestones and critical path tasks to ensure timely completion.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in using CAD systems, with a preference for PTC Creo, to create and interpret mechanical part and assembly drawings.
- Familiar with gas handling equipment, HVAC machinery, and gas process piping/tubing, enhancing project effectiveness in related fields.
- Knowledgeable in pneumatic, piping, and electro-mechanical automation systems, contributing to diverse project requirements.
- Experienced in project management, ensuring timely and organized execution of tasks and objectives.
- Skilled in interpreting P&ID diagrams, supporting understanding of process systems.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for documentation and communication needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work and accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
