Maintenance Manager | Plastics | Elk Grove Village, IL
The Maintenance Manager will lead a team to maintain and improve machinery, facility systems, and ensure regulatory compliance through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement. The role of Maintenance Manager requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration across departments to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency

Description
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team to meet production and safety goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Review KPIs including OEE, to track performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities
- Work with Senior leadership to develop budgets and weigh on site strategy
- Manage budgets and resources for maintenance projects and repairs
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and production
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Profile
- A background in engineering or a related field, with a focus on industrial/manufacturing environments
- Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate a team effectively
- Background in a plastics manufacturing environment is heavily preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and maintenance processes
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
Job Offer
- Base salary $135,000 - $145,000 depending on level of experience
- Annual site bonus incentive based on revenue
- 3 Weeks PTO
