Description

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee internal Corrective Actions, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and conducting verification audits for Internal CARs from audits and external corrective actions (8-D's).
• Manage customer returns, including samples, corrective actions, and coordinating with relevant departments.
• Lead root cause corrective actions in the 8-D format, ensuring thorough and professional documentation of results and communication with customers.
• Collaborate with department heads to assist in writing procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in writing and revising control plans, flow diagrams, and PFMEAs for the company.
• Apply a strong understanding of technical and industry specifications (ISO 9001), managing the documentation of company and customer specifications.
• Oversee all customer certification requests related to processing and accreditation certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile

A Successful Quality Engineer will have the following:

• Experience working in an automotive manufacturing setting with understanding of ISO 9001 industry standards
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within a technical product manufacturing environment
• Skilled in the corrective actions process and applying fundamental problem-solving techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for report generation and data analysis (e.g., creating graphs).
• Hands-on experience in writing procedures and work instructions.
• Solid understanding of APQP and PPAP processes

Job Offer

• Salary up to $95,000 depending on experience
