Description
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee internal Corrective Actions, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and conducting verification audits for Internal CARs from audits and external corrective actions (8-D's).
- Manage customer returns, including samples, corrective actions, and coordinating with relevant departments.
- Lead root cause corrective actions in the 8-D format, ensuring thorough and professional documentation of results and communication with customers.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in writing procedures and work instructions.
- Assist in writing and revising control plans, flow diagrams, and PFMEAs for the company.
- Apply a strong understanding of technical and industry specifications (ISO 9001), managing the documentation of company and customer specifications.
- Oversee all customer certification requests related to processing and accreditation certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile
A Successful Quality Engineer will have the following:
- Experience working in an automotive manufacturing setting with understanding of ISO 9001 industry standards
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within a technical product manufacturing environment
- Skilled in the corrective actions process and applying fundamental problem-solving techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for report generation and data analysis (e.g., creating graphs).
- Hands-on experience in writing procedures and work instructions.
- Solid understanding of APQP and PPAP processes

Job Offer
- Salary up to $95,000 depending on experience
- 401k match of 6%
