A leading multi‑family office is seeking a Tax Director to oversee complex tax compliance and planning for high‑net‑worth families. This role blends technical expertise, relationship leadership, and hands‑on involvement in a fully integrated family office environment.

Description
- Oversee, review, and sign individual, trust, gift, partnership, and corporate multistate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
- Lead quarterly and annual tax projections, planning discussions, and strategic recommendations for assigned families.
- Serve as the primary tax and family office lead, managing communications, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with accounting and investment teams to monitor cash needs and ensure liquidity for upcoming obligations.
- Review quarterly financial reports to confirm they accurately reflect each client's full financial picture.
- Partner with internal teams to prepare and present materials for quarterly family meetings; attend meetings virtually or in person.
Profile
A successful Tax Director should have:
- Brings strong technical expertise in individual, trust, partnership, and multistate tax for high‑net‑worth clients.
- Demonstrates confidence managing complex family relationships with discretion, clarity, and sound judgment.
- Skilled at leading cross‑functional teams and collaborating with accounting, advisory, investment, and planning groups.
- Comfortable mentoring junior staff and contributing to a culture of learning and development.
- CPA preferred
Job Offer
