Description

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of R&D, you will be responsible for the following:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in a specialized technical discipline across the organization.
• Initiate and lead R&D projects using advanced technologies to develop new or improved products, materials, processes, or applications.
• Apply advanced scientific theories and principles to explore innovative solutions and support critical business initiatives.
• Align research and project direction with company goals, ensuring originality and state-of-the-art approaches.
• Deliver high-quality written technical reports for internal and external audiences; may present findings at industry conferences or publish in scientific journals.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Provide expert technical input to ensure excellence in project execution and outcomes.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers, sharing knowledge on non-woven technologies and best practices to build team capabilities.

Profile

A successful Senior R&D Engineer should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PhD or Master's Degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in non-woven fabric and R&D
• Experience with innovative original research in field of specialization, through IP generation, technical documents and significant results impacting the industry
• Strong knowledge of material testing standards, quality control measures, and industry regulations
• Experience developing, implementing, and overseeing experimental protocols, process parameters, and material testing
