Estimator - Mixed Commercial
- A Mixed Commercial Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects, including retail, office, and industrial spaces.
- This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and market trends to develop comprehensive bids while collaborating closely with project managers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and feasibility.

Description
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various commercial construction projects by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and relevant documentation.
Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive bids that reflect project scope and market conditions, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Market Research: Conduct research on material and labor costs, as well as industry trends, to inform pricing strategies and estimate accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather information and clarify project requirements, ensuring all estimates are aligned with project goals.
Review and Adjust Estimates: Continuously review and adjust estimates based on project changes, scope modifications, and client feedback to ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks associated with project costs and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, bid submissions, and project correspondence to ensure transparency and facilitate future reference.
Post-Contract Evaluation: Analyze project performance against estimates upon project completion, providing insights for future bidding processes and continuous improvement.
Profile
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction estimation, with a strong ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates. They will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with project managers and contractors, and will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple estimates simultaneously.
