Private Equity/M&A Associate
This mid‑level associate role focuses on advising clients on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and related corporate matters. You will work closely with experienced deal teams to manage negotiations, transaction documents, and complex strategic transactions

Description
- Advise clients on private equity transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for transactions.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on corporate and commercial matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support clients in structuring and closing deals efficiently and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments to provide informed counsel.
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in New York or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
- Strong knowledge of private equity and M&A transactions.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
