Construction Estimator - Heavy Civil

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team and play a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for large-scale infrastructure and civil projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of heavy civil construction, including earthwork, utilities, roadways, and site development. You will work closely with project managers and engineers to compile cost estimates that align with project requirements and client expectations.

Description

• Bid on public and private projects (highway, roadway, sitework, earthwork, bridges, etc.)
• Partake in preconstruction meetings
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and all relevant projects
• Use construction-specific software for data collection and takeoffs

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, grading, and other heavy civil project components.
• Proficiency in estimation software (such as HCSS or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
