Production Manager- Medical Device- Danvers, MA

The Production Manager will lead all shop floor operations, including workflow execution, production planning, and schedule adherence for two core product lines at a high-tech manufacturing site.

A growing medical device market and recently acquired by a larger organization that already has an established presences in this healthcare space. The small organization North of Boston is now seeking an experienced medical device leader to take them to the next level through manufacturing, technology and supply chain.

Description

The Production Manager will be responsible for:

• Proven experience managing and distributing work orders to production technicians, ensuring clarity and timely execution.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold production teams accountable to daily and weekly goals.
• Experience reporting on key production metrics including top-level assembly progress and target completion dates.
• Ability to strategically prioritize workload based on delivery deadlines and technician availability.
• A results-driven mindset focused on maximizing productivity and identifying when additional staffing or support is required.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional role, collaborating closely with planning, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment across departments.

Profile

The successful Production Manager will have a background as follows:

• BS in Mechanical, Engineering, Operations or Industrial Management
• 5+ years in production management, overseeing full production floor
• Medical Device experience is a PLUS
• Lean manufacturing principal are ideal in a candidates background
• Experience working cross functionally with Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering
• Background working on electronics based products is a PLUS
