They're looking for a Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to take care of their complex Healthcare Construction projects who is service-oriented, curious, and appreciates innovation.
Description
- Take-off and pricing tasks
- Coordinate subcontractor bids and budgeting processes
- Assist in estimating and tab sheet preparation
- Apply cost knowledge to develop Conceptual and Schematic Level Budgets with provided information
- Help manage client and design team expectations regarding costs, schedules, logistics, and quality
- Coordinate closely with Field Operations Teams
- Meeting with clients and design teams, and developing strategies to attract new clients
- Maintain and nurture relationships with Trade Partners, staying informed on current pricing, labor demands, and material lead times
- Conduct budget presentations with clients, design teams, and internal project teams
- Participate in pre-bid efforts in collaboration with Trade Partners, ensuring a smooth bidding process
Profile
- 5-10+ years of estimating/preconstruction management experience
- Experience with specialized healthcare renovations, medical office buildings, ground up healthcare, higher education, religious projects, and/or other commercial work
- Understanding of LEAN Construction concepts is a plus
- Able to read drawings and specifications
- Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
