Environmental Coordinator - Manufacturing - Westmoreland, NH
The Environmental Coordinator will ensure compliance with all internal environmental programs and regulatory requirements by managing hazardous waste, stormwater, air emissions, and wastewater processes. They will also develop and enhance programs to support sustainability initiatives and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance at our Westmoreland, NH facility.

- Strong knowledge of plant production and support processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and service orientation.
- Project management and time management skills preferred.
- Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinator in New Hampshire (preferred).
- Willingness to attend New Hampshire state trainings as required.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Description
The Environmental Coordinator (Manufacturing), will:
- Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with the Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan, including characterization and disposal of hazardous waste per regulations.
- Oversee waste management, including inspections, transportation, shipments, storage, and emergency response containers.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely management of hazardous waste manifests, including follow-ups on discrepancies.
- Perform monthly inspections and required reporting for Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and maintain associated records.
- Conduct Quarterly Visual Inspections during rain events and file reports as required.
- Complete annual evaluations and reviews for SPCC, including inspections, recertifications, and training.
- Ensure compliance with wastewater discharge requirements, including Industrial Discharge Permit (IDP) renewals and quarterly report reviews.
- Monitor air emissions and ensure certifications and compliance with NH regulations for boilers, pressure vessels, and refrigeration equipment.
- Work with environmental consultants to maintain groundwater management system compliance and review monitoring reports.
- Complete annual Tier II and SARA 313 reports, and ensure environmental items are completed per the compliance calendar.
- Provide monthly environmental reports to Corp EHS, including training logs, assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Track and implement corrective actions and compliance improvements across all environmental areas.

Profile
- High school diploma or GED required.
