Description

• Design and develop tooling for mono and co-extrusion plastic profiles and tubes.
• Lead new tooling development projects ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and QC teams to approve first article samples.
• Oversee machine shop activities and ensure tools meet design and quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement needs for tooling materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot daily process issues and support production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Maintain engineering documentation and databases.

Profile

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0-5 years in plastic manufacturing, preferably extrusion die design and process development.
• Candidates completing university can be considered with the right background.
• Knowledge of plastic resins and processing techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
