Automation Engineer - Power Connectors - Binghamton , NY
Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, robotics, and other automation systems.

Serving industries like alternative energy, power generation, rail, automotive manufacturing, heavy equipment, and petrochemicals, they deliver rugged and innovative solutions.
They are a rapidly growing company in Broome County, New York and looking to expand in 2025. All their roles offer great growth potential and the ability to work cross functionally with multiple teams.
Description
- Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, robotics, and other automation systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate automation solutions into existing workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction through automation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards for automation systems.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with PLC programming, robotics, and industrial automation systems.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Rockwell, Siemens, or similar automation platforms.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
