The Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in supporting project execution within the construction department, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Description

• Assist in planning and coordinating construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
• Help manage project budgets and track expenses to avoid cost overruns.
• Support the procurement of materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all project phases.
• Resolve day-to-day issues that arise during project execution.
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation and post-project evaluations.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

• 2+ years in an Assistant Project Manager position
• A background in construction, property development, or a related field.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Nice to have experience in the Federal Construction Industry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to team success.
• Commutable to Springfield Office - 5 days a week In Person
